HBRY-Central Kansas GP30

Kermit C i owe you for u photo on Railroadforums because if it wasnt for that photo i would never have gone to PA. HBRY GP30 2508 been used as a parts source for the gp10's in PA. Alot of history for this former Denver Rio Grande and Western geep who has a Hudson Bay Railway logo, Central Kansas Railway lettering on Carlton Trail Property.
Thats unfortunate. A locomotive of this signifcance should be out on the road! Nice picture.

Perhaps they'll need larger motive power in the future (Iogen plant)and then this old girl will be back on the road. However most likely we shall see old CN GP38s rolling the lines instead.

Thanks for the ratings guys. I very much enjoyed shooting her in the Roundhouse.
The roundhouse almost seemed like a museum with this rare piece.
