Grayslake Rocket

As dusk settles in, Metra North Central train #120 waits for the light on the connector track as Metra Milwaukee North train #2147 streaks past. In a minute #120 will turn the corner and start its non-stop journey to Chicago Union Station, some 40 miles distant, passing 16 stations along the way.
Nice catch! I was always curious about this train... smart move for Metra to use MD-N for the flip rather than staying on CN.
