EL GP 1401 pulls commuter train

EL GP-7 1401 & 1403 lead a westbound commuter train towards Suffern, NY during May, 1974. Train is passing through Allendale, NJ on the still 4 track EL main.
Looking back at these older images I have been scanning, sure do miss these older railroads! Even thought bout scanning some PC!!! Sure never thought much of them in the 70s!
Great shot! I like the EL GP7's, But a coal drag would have looked nicer behind them!!! I've seen enough EL SD45's and SDP45's, but these GP7's look great!!! Glen
