This train which runs 4 or 5 times a week is leaving Chetwynd BC at 9am for Dawson Creek & will return late the same evening.The distance is 60 miles & the crew will encounter 2 sets of 2.2% grades each way on this seedy old branch line which has a maximum speed limit of 10 to 20 MPH for the entire route. The main commodity is grain from the Dawson Creek area which is shipped to the coast via Chetwynd & Prince George BC.Normal power is 3 or 4 GE B38-8E's which are former LMX units that were leased to Burlington Northern & later purchased by BCR.
