Dawn with no more Trains

In July of 2005, CSX vacated it Port Huron "Boat Yard" due to its sale to Acheson Ventures. They yard, tracks and property will be converted from everything to a marshes, marinas, and condos. Since the late 1800s there was always trains in Port Huron, MI. Now they are gone from the water front along the Black and St. Clair River.

CSX has now moved its operations to a new "depot" and yard north of St. Clair Michigan.

In this photo is the depot, the drawbridge across the Black river and the sunrise over Sarnia, Ontario.
