CP 4522 (ex-UP GP40X)

Rebuild by NRE to a GP38-2, acquired by CP in 2005 in exchange for their old SD40/SD40-2s along with 5 sisters of SOU GP50, SP GP40X & SOU GP38 heritage. Not sure what hes doing up here, as these are SOO assigned units. Might even be his first Canadian trip!

Part of a great old-school lash-up: CP 5980-4522-SOO 6061-CP 3116
Action orange SD40-2 leading, SOO SD60M (one of 5) trailing, followed by a GP38-2. Lifting one more, 3118 at Lanigan on the way down to Regina.
It certainly looks like an oddball. With it's radiator placement, it looks like a long SD45-2.
