CP 3106 - Portage Geep

Portage la Prairie is one of the best places to railfan on the Prairies, as that's where the CN & CP mainlines meet, not to mention CP's & CN's Prarie North Lines. The town itself doesn't generate much traffic however, thus there's only one unit on duty - a GP38-2, ussually CP 3106.

He's seen here bringing in the local, long-hood forward naturally. The consist was two potato reefers, one tanker and a caboose: http://www.railroadforums.com/photos/showphoto.php/photo/28695/si/portage%20prairie/perpage/9
