CP 3091

On October 4th, 2004, CP 3077 & 3091 derailed and caught fire. They have since been sold to NRE.

Not sure, but it was probably that one. Never though I'd be posting pictures in this category...
 
I'll look at my photo's, I have photo's of all the locomotives involved in the grade crossing collision at Dafoe on the Sutherland Subdivision. I was training out of Sutherland when the accident happened. The next week I was training in Wynyard and as I drove through Dafoe I stopped to get some pictures of the units that were burnt up. The legal battle between CP Rail and the trucking company involved was finally settled in CP's favour in January of 2007 - that black box can be a pain in the ass, or it can save your ass. With this accident it was both.
