Coupler

All of the horizontal forces of a train are applied to each coupler, these small pieces of steel holding an entire train together. Taken from the sidewalk overlooking King St. Station in Seattle, WA.
Very clever and well done shot. After a weekend of my trying (unsuccessfully) to pan a shot I can really appreciate what it took to get this sharp capture.
