What is the primary source of traffic for this train? I am wondering if this train is primarily used to deliver cars to the Hudson Bay Railway?

This train is a Winnipeg to Canora and traffic is sent West and North.

Like every other PNL train, this one serves elevators, hence grain is the primary traffic with some gypsum thrown in. The HBR is a joke now that the smelter is closing. Only seasonal grain to Churchill, that traffic isn't even routed over the PNL now as I see it on the Saskatoon mainline heading East by-passing the Warman sub/PNL connection..

I wouldn't dismiss HBR so quickly. They still serve Tolko in The Pas and I'd assume still serve Hudson Bay Minerals for their zinc concentrator in Flin Flon. HBR also provides producst for many rural communities as I saw first hand through watching several flatbed cars get loaded with Betty Crocker and also still serve communties with petroleum cars. What traffic of HBR's comes out of Thompson nowadays?
