SD39

A first for me - an SD39. I've seem a couple before, but always on the fly. This one surprised me, the 3rd unit on a northbound BNSF manifest at Kalama, WA. Can I assume it was a Pasco-Interbay train, moving the SD39 from Pasco to Interbay for service?

Rob - is this an SD40-2 rebuild? Someone on the forum posted a message about BNSF rebuilding SD40-2's and renumbering them in the 1900 series. Good catch!

Jon - this is a true SD39, ex BNSF 6208, ex ATSF 1564, ex ATSF 4018.
