Close Quarters at Picnic Point

FURX 7936 in the lead of the westbound Everett WA-Vancouver,WA manifest passes an eastbound stack train stopped at Picnic Point Park.There's a manifest headed for Bayside Yard Everett stopped ahead due to no room in the yard. (Having gone to sea for many years "Close Quarters" was an expression used when ships got very close to each other-couldn't resist it here)

Do you one better Curious-
First ship I was ever on,was the USTS CHARLESTON in 1957 (Ex USN PG-51) at that time it was the training ship at Massachusetts Maritime Academy.It was 327' similar to a pre WW2 destroyer.We had 117 guys in class in a compartment in the foc'sle sleeping 4 high on steel racks with canvas strung in the rack.The position you assumed when you "hit the sack" was where you stayed as there was not enough room to turn.
Thats even "Closer Quarters"
