Beijeng Railway Museum 1

Unfortunately I have missplaced my notes on the locos in this museum, but I'll try to explain as well as I can visually.
This is the very locomotive that pulled Chairman Mao's train into Peking(Beijeng)after the Chinese Nationalist were defeated in 1949. That's Mao's relief on the smokebox front.

What's with the ditchlights? I doubt their original.

Special engine...special lights....I don't think it was built with them, but they have been on it a long time....Some other Chinese locos have one only on the engineer's side, that's the left side in China
