He's the twin brother of the Prince Albert steam engine, CN 5080, ex-CGR 453 (CGR 471 here) respectively. He's a later built though, of 1917 heritage, kept by CN longer as well, until 1963. The tender is from CN 5139, another in the series.

This is the very locomotive that pulled Chairman Mao's train into Peking(Beijeng)after the Chinese Nationalist were defeated in 1949. That's Mao's relief on the smokebox front.
