A Local Reborn

Well Close. Local 718 used to drop off and pick up cars for the Aberdeen Carolina & Western at Aberdeen NC. The south switch for he longest time was broken resulting in the local having to pullup past the North switch then backing down into the ACW yard to drop off. Quite a waste of time as the ACW had to wait for the block to be cleared before they could move. Wel the 718 was abolished and the 742 (Hamlet to Raleigh) took it\'s place. And with the switch now working ,they could pull right through and out in no time. But CSX has a habit of returning things back to normal. But even in theroy this was most likely the fastet drop of time for this train.
