Luopoling is one of the railfan favorites in Beijing, China because of a bridge it features. But the other attraction here is a DF7B that services the shortline here. I don't have too much intel about it but I did discern that this small yard is used exclusively to store shoving platforms for the railroad crews. And yes the shoving platform is created from an old hopper of some kind.

I have noticed cabooses are rather rare in China. Hopefully there is some collision protection for anyone that needs to ride that hopper.
