Here is one more along the line of their usual fare. Portland Traction Company 4001, built in 1929 by by the Kuhlman Car Company. It is currently painted for its original owner, Indiana Railroad.

With the arrival of the Charger locomotives, there are far fewer P42's on the corridor trains these days. The venerable 559PHI's, though probably the last EMD passenger loco to be made, will be around for quite a while yet.

Last August, we stayed three nights on the 9th floor of the Emeryville Hyatt House. I sure liked the show on the Capitol Corridor. Nice photos!
