That scenicked layout in the living room looked pretty large and detailed for just a 20 minute show. I wonder if it was someone's layout that was transported to and from the studio just for filming. If it was constructed just for the show, I wonder if someone from the cast or crew got to take it home afterwards.

I thought maybe it was one of the displays Lionel built for stores, but it looks too big for that. They had a huge PR department though, and likely would have been happy to build that in order to get featured on the show.
