Here's a slightly unusual trolley line in southern Poland. It passes what used to be between 1922 and 1939 the border between Poland and Germany, within the heavily populated and industrialized interurban conurbation of Upper Silesia. Chorzow was Polish and Beuthen (Bytom) was German, this bunker was built right on the town line:

A piece of military history going hand in hand with contemporary urban transit. Since 1945, both Chorzow and Bytom have been within Poland's, as the borders were redefined and shifted more to the west. Because of the camouflage colors, this museum bunker is not even that easy to spot for riders on the tramway!
