Recently I took a road trip with my wife around the western US for our anniversary. Here are a few videos of trains from the trip. All were taken with my iPhone.

First is the helper set first thing in the morning switching track in Essex, MT.

Next is a BNSF Intermodal at Essex, MT

Next is a work train at Essex, MT switching the end of the train that the caboose is on with an intermodal train passing through. And this was an actual caboose, not just a shoving platform with the doors welded shut. The were able to go inside, and it even had a solar panel on the side.

Here is a grain train at Moccasin Creek at Glacier, MT

And finally we caught a Boeing Train in Wyoming.

Sorry for the angle on some of the videos and the iPhone quality. Hope you enjoyed the videos.

And here is a bonus video. At Essex, MT we stayed at the Izaak Walton Inn in the GN 441 Locomotive Room. It was very cool. All of the videos from Essex were taken from the cab of the locomotive, this the weird angle. The control stand is still in the locomotive and you can control the lights. This video is the lights and the MARS light working.
