5th Generation Texian
This was moving thru Spring (TX) today at lunch, had not noticed the nose shield patch before altho it doesn't appear too fresh.

a quick look at an image from a few weeks ago shows the same shield but in a different location.

That's the first one I have seen up high like that. Wonder why they would do that? Better visibility?

that would be my guess; also up high it is more like the normal centered placement on non-patched units. I know the corporate folks really have a hissy-fit when the shops do things like this. Corporate types love consistency.
 
The way the posts were made, it made it sound like it was two pictures of the same numbered unit with the crest in different spots. I was just pointing out that they are two different units.
