This was moving thru Spring (TX) today at lunch, had not noticed the nose shield patch before altho it doesn't appear too fresh.

that would be my guess; also up high it is more like the normal centered placement on non-patched units. I know the corporate folks really have a hissy-fit when the shops do things like this. Corporate types love consistency.
I saw a patched SP unit, that had 2 UP logos on the nose, on each upper corner
Those unit's are not the same, hence the different location of the shield.
The way the posts were made, it made it sound like it was two pictures of the same numbered unit with the crest in different spots. I was just pointing out that they are two different units.
