A trip around Council Bluffs on the way to grab a late lunch, shows 8 locomotives idling away on BNSF and the Iowa Interstate dropped a car on the siding around 17th st and then took off westbound, for what I assume was, to pick up the UP transfer. Have a Happy New Year. Tom

Nice shots Tom, Happy New Year!
Looking forward to your first shots of 2014.
Good stuff. I really like #2.
Do they have that slug mated with the 601 or is it along for the ride?
The slug is mated to the 601. It seems to stay on the west end of system, performing the yard switching an picking up the transfer from the UP. Must be a heavy load today usually there is no 3rd unit.
Nice work Tom. Hope to see plenty more in 2014!
