Found on CL, I don't know any details, didn't even know it existed...
Although lettered for the Northern Pacific, this car was originally built for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad in Jan of 1920 in their Aurora, IL shops and was classified as a NE9 road caboose. The car managed to stay in service until the merger of the Burlington Northern in 1970 and was renumbered #11197 and then it was finally sold into private ownership in 1975 and repainted into Northern Pacific but retained its original road number. The car is in sound condition but needs restoration. all original equipment is there. You move it. I have bids between 5 to 6 K
