My wife and I have a love of the 1940's, probably because we did not live in that era, and so for fun we got dressed up like the 1940's and went to a local railroad station that really has been bypassed by time and has kept their nostalgic look. With a camera mounted upon a tripod and using the self timer, we got some pretty good pictures, but you can be the judge.

Nicely done, it really looks like a period photo. The bicycle is a nice touch too, adds something to the shot. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to - An online railroad bookstore featuring a curated selection of new and used railroad books.
