I saw a BNSF GP50 #3186 & GP38-2, (didn't get the engine #), on a local switching a lumber mill in Bingen, WA today.
As the 3186 went by, the engine model on the frame was stenciled as GP25-2. Has it been de-rated from 3500 HP to 2500 HP and is now considered a GP25-2?
ThIS BNSF roster lists the series as GP50/GP25-2 but no notes.
