Elephants are unloaded as the Circus Train arrives in Fort Worth August 11, 2003. These guys seemed happy to get out of the cars.
Here is a link to my similar pic from last year.

Amtrak #10 backs the Texas Eagle around a UP freight and past Tower 55 to the Fort Worth Intermodal Station. 100 degrees and level purple air quality alert. 8-8-03
Pulling out of the station, BNSF 4804 (C44-9W) leads Santa Fe Railway Historical & Modeling Society Convention excursion north from Fort Worth, TX on 6-27-03
BNSF 6804, 2249, & 6378 are lashed together for a great A-B-A team complete with matching paint scheme. Taken on 6-7-2003 between Tower 55 and the UP Centennial yard in Fort Worth, TX.
5-26-2003, UP 4987, 3909, & 6162 pulling a rail train wait to go south through Tower 55 in Fort Worth, TX. The second section of this train sits nearby.
FWWR 2248 arrives in the Ft Worth stockyards from Grapevine, TX with several carloads of visitors. 2248 was made by Cooke Locomotive Works in 1896 as a heavy mountain class unit for the Southern Pacific. See www.tarantulatrain.com for further history.
Unit 2001 was being set up for another run this morning at the UP yard in Ft. Worth, TX. This unit has been around the FT Worth area for the last week making short hauls. Excuse the weather, but Ill take overcast days here in Texas any day over the tornadoes they are getting in Oklahoma.
Easter morning found the BNSF Alliance yard north of Fort Worth just full of units(a lot of KCS / TFM). Including this BNSF railroad police unit #207. BNSF locomotives 2249 and 4756 sit in the background. Didn't know what category to put this in. Does this count as a roster shot for the police...
SP 7133, UP 222, and SP 9751 were north bound out of Saginaw last evening with a mixed freight. I love the fact that both SP units aren't patched up in some way.
