    As the power pushed the train clear of the island circut, the gates went up and traffic started to flow. The train would have to wait in the west end of the Emmet Siding for a eastbound to pass before heading west again.

    The head end of this train is not pulling it. The power comes from GTW locos # 4909 & 4634 pushing the 700 feet of welded rail to Imlay City, MI. This photo was taken in Emmet, Mi near Bisco's Bar.

    As the Loram rail grinder work past the corner the rail dust nearly blocks the sun on the far side of the train. Rail must have been out of shape in this area.
