Its early morning - crews work hard to replace the switch off the Watrous sub onto the Warman sub (PNL route). As you can see clearly in the photo, the mainline is split. I think they installed an automatic turnout, so that CN 303/314 dont need to bother the yard and take a good half hour away...
The best train of the day is the joint UP-KCS train the line is the Marysville Sub which sees the joint UP-BNSF Jeffrey Energy Center train which cut of to go to that power plant here.
Local units 4796 and 4782 had nothing left to do, and began to wander the yards. Atleast thats what they said. They were later sent to do work on the Rosetown sub.
BNSF #3002 leads two other 4-axle power through the curve east of the East switch North Dalles to points westward in Washington state. The grain cars right behind the power were probably added to the train in Pasco to move to the Vancouver/Portland area.
The Boeing Switch gets ready to move some 24 ft wide containers. These are used to haul 777 parts from the docks in Everett, WA. A 16 ft wide container is on the left.
A young lady conductor hops out of the engine again to make sure the switch is lined for their movement. Power switch was broken and needed some manual adjusting.
