In October 1998, when my wife and I were dating, took a trip to Whistler and road the RDC to Lillooet and back. I don't remember the name of this train, I think this one is going north. I do remember seeing the train in the movie "Atomic Train" parked in the yard.
VIA 6148 and 6133 outside the Victoria shops at the end of E&N Day 2009. Both 6148 and 6133 were supposed to be used for train rides to Langford and back, but 6133 developed some mechanical problems and was put on display instead.
6130 sits in the Victoria yard before it was shipped to IRSI for some work. This RDC-1 was sold to FarmRail in 1999 but leased back as a spare RDC for the E&N. It is currently being tested back east with IRSI RDC2 6202.
6130 is ex-VIA 6130, ex-CP 9057
CN 15016, Everybody's favorite rebuilt RDC inspection car, came to Riverview. While in the area the RDC was coincidentally assigned to cover the route of VIA 680, the oldtime RDC sevice from Regina to Prince Albert, making trips over the Warman, Watrous and Craik Subdivisions in proper fashion.
CN RDC 15016 (rebuilt into a track testing car) heads west down the EJ&E Illinois River Line. You aren't imagining things either, there is a RDC on a class one in 2009!
The Lewis & Clark Explorer crosses Blind Slough on a fine August morning. The train is about 20 miles east of its destination of Astoria. Today these tracks are out of service.
