Enjoy this video of UP and BNSF trains passing through Binney Junction in California. This is a major junction between the Union Pacific's North-South Valley Subdivision to Dunsmuir, and the Sacramento Subdivision to Oroville and eventually the Feather River Canyon.
This RTCH(wretch) is probably going to Fort Polk, La or another Military Installation. The flat car is marked as a DODX. This vehicle moves 20 and 40 foot containers. When it is in travel mode, the wheels are place on the corners to prevent the crane from having that much play.

NS Eastbound Military Train 057 departs the siding at Lincoln, Al. after having met Amtrak P019. NS ran several military trains within a week or 2 & I was lucky enough to capture 2 of them in 3 days with nice BNSF power. These military train were destined for Ft. Benning in Columbus, Ga.
NS Eastbound Military Train 057 rumbles through Lovick, Al. on its way to Columbus, Ga. ( Ft. Benning ) via Atlanta & Macon due to clearance restrictions on the old Central of Georgia from Birmingham to Columbus.
BNSF 7860 & 7150 in Saginaw, TX. I didnt realize it was a military train until it came around the bend. I then started looking over my shoulder for the special agents that seem to appear out of nowhere when these specials come through town. Got my pic and scrammed out of there.
MTM owns this Selfridge Baldwin. This one was actually used at Selfridge ANGB before they discontinued rail service with GTW. GTW supplied the coal for the boiler plants before the base turned to natural gas for heat.
