Boston and Maine GP-9s bring an eastbound freight into the East Deerfield, Massachusetts yard sometime in the early 1980s. I don't remember exactly when I took the photo but it was while I was in college.
2 foot gauge steam locomotive #4 operates the Portland waterfront. The Maine Narrow Gauge railroad runs this operation, and has 2 other 2 foot gauge steamers in restoration right now.
The remnants of the T-boned Maine Central 375(Guilford Rail) just north of the diamond in Momence. The engine, or prime mover, is nearby in the dirt.

This is the side of one of the Great Plains Passenger Train cars. The names on the 3 cars are AFTON LEIGH, FALLYNE MARIE AND KALEIGH ANN - It would be interesting to know where they ended up.
