UP E9A 949 pulls up to UD tower in Joliet with a business train. The classic looking Es and the tower make for a scene that looks like it is from the 1960s, not 2006. It was just like going back in time.
BNSF crane 199460, with ATSF reporting marks, heads past Joliet Station towards the diamonds to pick up some materials for the bridge and platform work going on.
EJ&E 650 holds westbound in Joliet. The engine is a non dash 2 SD38 and it still wears the old paint scheme. It is the only unrebuilt non Dash 2 SD38 on the system. It is due to be sent to Gary for a rebuild to dash 3 standards as well as new paint soon.
