  3. My first Santa Fe shot.

    My first Santa Fe shot.

Traveled to Ft. Madison Iowa from Chicago June 22, 1983 for "A day in the West". This was the first engine I saw as we pulled into the yard at sunrise. Kodachrome's have been my favorite scheme ever since.
  4. Full Moon over the SSW

    Full Moon over the SSW

This shot looks so much like a model or diorama to me. I couldn't pass up a chance to get an unpatched Cotton Belt unit. The moon rising is just extra gravy for the shot.
  5. Headlights for illumination

    Headlights for illumination

This unit was buried up in the yard with no light around for illumination. We used the head lights and spotlights on the car to light up the side for a creative way to get your shot.
