BNSF 5919 leads a westbound Unit Coal Train across the Idaho Panhandle.It is approaching the Public Access Road Crossing to the Trestle Creek Recreation Area at MP 106.4 on the MRL 4th Sub.
CN 8946 leads its northbound loaded coal train across Dakota Creek during moderate to heavy rainfall.It is about three miles to the International Border at Blaine,WA then on to a crew change at Vancouver,BC.With a new crew,it will be on to their ultimate destination of Prince Rupert,BC

A northbound UP executive train crosses Coyote Creek just north of Wicopee, OR, while descending from Cascade Summit. This is the spot the huge Frazier Slide of 2008 ended, burying the track at this location under mud & debris.

A westbound auto rack crossing over the Nason Creek and White Pines road trestle and about to enter the slot a slice cut thru a rock formation for the road bed, pulling hard up grade to the top of Stevens Pass to Berne and the summit and then in to the Cascade tunnel and on down the other side...
