A southbound at South Deshler.
With a day of beautiful light I decided try my hand as to shoot two cameras. With a long lensed D90 on a monopod I could bracket a shot with the D90, let it rest in the cormer of my arm and get a wide angle set off with the D70.
2-6-6-6 # 1604 sitting in the car shop building at the B&O museum at Baltimore. I saw this engine at Roanoke, VA in 1981. A few years later, a massive flood hit the museum and actually moved this beast several feet to the side! It's nice to see it finally under cover but it's impossible to...
The highway bridge is in the foreground and the CSX (ex B&O) bridge is in the background. I think the big bridge upriver in the background is a freeway bridge.

An old B&O piggyback trailer being used for storage beside the old C&O yard office in St. Albans, WV. Shortly after this was taken, dirtbags spray painted over the logo.
While the 4343 remains in service as CSXT 6242, the office this was taken from is no more than a foundation and the forground tracks and yard they lead to are all gone.
