I am currently employed at a manufacturing plant and my position is what equates to be a supervisor that does mechanic work. This job pays pretty good but never getting any time off is what has got me wanting to leave. I've heard that CSX employees hardly get time off either but the job I'm at now takes it to the extreme. It's nothing for us to work 7 days straight for months on end right now and when you're on 3rd shift, that pretty much means that you have no life other than your job...

Two trains pass in the night in this 6.38 minute exposure on June 18, 2005 at 8:24pm. This is the north end of Bealville siding on Union Pacific's line over the Tehachapi's looking south with a near full moon to illuminate it all. I am standing on top of tunnel number 2. As the southbound ( up grade ) train came out of tunnel 2 and saw the other train sitting in the siding (the bright light in the middle of the picture) he dimmed his headlight.
