    The BNSF railroad bridge across the Columbia River near Rock Island WA. It was built in the early 1890's as part of the Great Northern Railway. What makes this bridge somewhat unsual is that the bridge was later strengthened by adding an outer truss around the original truss.

    November 2001. My son and I followed this train Westbound from Pasco Wa to Vancouver Wa. Rainy and wet (typical), the day provided many great shots. This is the 1st of a sequence of 4 ending with the two unit set blasting out of this tunnel along Highway 14.
