Almost all Z-Trains that operate on the UP's Greeley Sub use newer power. This one had a C40-8 upfront and a rebuilt SD40-2TR,a rebuilt from either DRGW or SP. This southbound was heading south into Denver after receiving a clear signal at Platteville, Colorado.
