Who needs a train?

The Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum in Willimantic, CT hosted the New England Blacksmiths for their annual blacksmithing demonstration on Saturday April 16, 2005. The guest blacksmiths fabricated numerous items for the Museum's use in rolling stock restoration. Here, Bill Schafer, a blacksmith from Mystic Seaport, works with some red hot iron.
