Who knew?

In the summer of 1992, SP 4449 made its last trip south to California on the Shasta Route. The train is crossing Dry Canyon Viaduct near Hotlum siding on the Black Butte Subdivision.
Great shot! Who knew as well that the #4449 would make its last trip to Southern California in 1989 for the 50th anniversary of Los Angeles' Union Station.
