Passing the signal at Mignon on the West end of Sylacauga, AL, NS 137 runs on the heels of NS A45 that has just left out of town also. The spur in the foreground is a stubbed end spur that years back worked the Avondale Mills Box Plant. Originally, this spur was a connector track that was built by WALCO (Wisconsin/Alabama Lumber Co) and ran from here over to Gantt's Jct where it interchanged with the L&N's Alabama Mineral Loop (now the EARY's line).
