UP Heritage unit 1989 was the lead unit on this Operation Lifesaver Special, seen departing Platteville, CO, on the Greeley Sub.

Curious. Thanks for the comment and the rating. The unit on the rear is not a helper. This special runs up and down the line stopping at various locations. The 1989 unit is used when going north, and the other when heading south.
 
Nice catch. I was lucky enough to see the same special a few months ago but with different power; GW Bush 4141 and an SD70ace, I believe.
