Union Pacific 3985 with white driver tires arrives at Speer, Wyoming - May 27, 1984

I'm digging around and found an unlabeled box of Kodachrome. The mounts were labeled June 1986 which threw me off for a while until I looked close and found a picture of me among the frames. Some more research and figured out the events and train consist matched at trip from 1984. My brother Kevin was along on that trip. So I called him to make sure. Yeah, he remembered taking photos and it made sense to him that it would have laid around for two years before being processed. He must have given me the box in antiquity.

Union Pacific 3985 with white driver tires arrives at Speer, Wyoming - May 27, 1984. The excursion train will show up soon from Denver. 3985 will take over from a diseasel and take the train roundtrip to Laramie.

Oh yeah, and me - I got in the pic too!
