The Pacific Wilderness Railway

The Pacific Wilderness Railway's inaugural run arrives in Victoria. Owned by Ross Rowland Jr. the Pacific Wilderness railway lasted only 2 years, closing down in 2001, costs were too high and they weren't bringing in enough passengers to make the payments. The PAW leased equipment from the Ohio Central, trackage from the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway and the Vic West yard from the Canadian Pacific Railway.
