The best street running?

One of the greatest places to observe street running is in Ft. Collins, CO on the BNSF front range sub. This is no branch line or industial spur, this is the mainline. Stick around here long enough and your sure to get some amazing photos as was the case on January 14, 2005. A detoured 6000 ft BNSF Priority Intermodel symboled P-TACKCM2-10, was led by a trio of Montana Rail Link SD45-2's en route to KCS on lease. Next to me was a local railfan who has been shooting trains down Mason street long before the MRL even existed and to his knowledge a solid set of 3 MRL's has never led a train down the front range sub. This street running shot was just one of many we shot that day while chasing the train from Cheyenne, WY to Denver, CO. Canon EOS-85mm-Fuji Provia 100.
