This line, splitting off Ljubljana - Maribor - Vienna double tracked mainline at Pragersko, is part of 5th European corridor leadink from Barcelona in Spain to Kiew in Ukraine. The section between Murska Sobota and Hodos on Hungarian border has been rebuilt in 2001 after it has been abandoned 35 years ago
