Steamy Tunnel in the Mountains

Here is a shot of Union Pacific #844 steaming out of the tunnel at the summit of Tennessee Pass in Colorado. This shot was taken during the #844 excursion through the Royal Gorge in June of 1997. The summit of Tennessee Pass is around 10,000 ft. So we took it easy trying to get there. If anyone has the Pentrex video of the excursion, the Pentrex cameraman was standing about 50ft away from me.

Thanks for the nice comments. That was a great trip. Hopefully #844 will be rebuilt soon and back under steam.
