Starting Up Trammells Hill

NS Central of Georgia Train 334 begins the 6 mile climb up the 1.16% grade that is Trammells Hill after leaving downtown Sylacauga, AL on April 23, 2009. This long, steady grade regularly causes over-tonnage trains to stall, requiring the crews to double the train to the top of the hill. This normally sets them back at least two hours.
Hey...how come you souther guys can get Conrail units in the lead?
