Spirit of Washington Golden Spike Ceremony.

Before the first run of the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train at its Tacoma location, a "golden" spike was driven at Freighthouse Square.
So neat to see The Spirit of Washington in her hay day. She looked faded and worn down when i saw her in Nov 2012, but at least #84 is still in service.

If they'd stood there for a few more photos, the photographers could have caught the press release they were ending the train. You could have timed the train's service in Tacoma with a stopwatch!
